Girls-trip to Mallorca

During easter my sister, mom and I went on a girls-trip to Mallorca. This was my first time and I must say, I was very positively surprised. The island has so much to offer and is absolutely stunning!

We had rented an apartment on Airbnb in the Santa Catalina area, which is the hipster neighborhood known as the litlle “Soho” of Palma de Mallorca. We could easily walk to the marina and city center, and best of all the apartment had both a small balcony, a terrace by the kitchen and a rooftop terrace. Perfect places to either eat breakfast or relax and soak up some spring sun.

We rented a car which made it easy to go to the different parts of Mallorca. The first day we drove to Sóller and Port de Sóller, which is small town on the west coast, beautifully situated in a valley of orange and lemon trees and mountains.

We also spent a day in Port d’Alcudia. During high season this might be the most touristed spot on the whole island, but since it was low season we pretty much had the place to ourselves and spent the day on the beach and eating a nice fish lunch in the small town.

We also drove to the Formentor Peninsula to the Creueta viewpoint to watch the fantastic view over the water.

In the morning Malene and I went running along the promenade in Palma 🙂

And of course we spent some days in Palma shopping, strolling the streets, watching the beautiful architecture and ate fantastic food!
